Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor passed away in Mumbai today. The actor was admitted to the Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital on Wednesday morning. The cause of death remains unknown. the actor's last rites to be performed at Chandanwadi Crematorium in Kalbadevi, Mumbai.

News18 reached out to his brother Randhir Kapoor, but he refused to divulge any detail, saying, "I'm not in a condition."

Kareena Kapoor, who is currently at the hospital supporting her family during this difficult time, posted a childhood picture of her uncle Rishi Kapoor with her father Randhir Kapoor. "The best boys I know... Papa and Chintu uncle," she captioned the pic.
